My daughter Danielle and I have wanted to spend time just the two of us but could never coordinate schedules. Finally we found a day that worked for both of us. On Saturday (May 14th) we took a boat cruise on the Mystic River. The cruise was 2 hours and included a picnic style lunch which was delicious. We both had a wonderful time. With all the hustle and bustle in both of our lives it was so nice to get away and reconnect. The photo was taken as we pulled away from the dock.

It was! We plan on getting together more often. We both don’t want the important things in life to get away from us in all the hustle and bustle. All three of my daughters feel this way. 🙂
