“Are cats lazy? Well, more power to them if they are. Which one of us has not entertained the dream of doing just as he likes, when and how he likes, and as much as he likes?” –Fernand Mery

Cats are like women, they have a mind of their own — and it’s a good thing, too, otherwise men would still be as uncivilized as barbarians (come to think of it, many of us still are). 😦 🙂

Indeed! I know what you mean – I have met a few of those barbarians in my lifetime. 😉

Cats aren’t lazy, are patiently and spoiled. 😀

Thanks so much! If they could talk I’m not sure we would like what they said. 😉

She/he is beautiful. Cats do have an interesting life. The originators of the phrase: live in the moment.

I’m not sure if the cat in the picture is male or female. It’s one of the stray cats that live in the woods. I agree – they do live in the moment. 🙂

I don’t think so, mine have their own will, it seen they have set schedule for their activities such as sleep, going out, playing around with themselves and grooming.

Cats are free spirits that know what they want and do what they want. 🙂

I do, every day!! Mostly I learn not to move about when my lap is required, to be quicker about preparing food, there’s no point in closing doors, I’m not allowed to work when I should be providing a lap, that’s not the right way to swing the toy, 3am is the correct time for a cat in my face or under the duvet……….
