Day 159: Sea Holly

“You know that old saw about plants — “thrives on neglect”? It must have been created for sea holly. It does best in poor soil with little water and baked conditions. Plants form taproots, so they are difficult to transplant once established, but starting new ones from seed is easy. Remove spent flowers to prevent excess self-seeding.” To read more click here

  1. I like the idea that leaving something to grow in its own way in poor conditions will lead to such a nice looking flower. I look forward to your posts these days > Kinda like opening an advent calendar only for every day of the year 🙂
