“Gypsophila paniculata (baby’s breath) is a species of flowering plant in the Caryophyllaceae family, native to central and eastern Europe. It is an herbaceous perennial growing to 1.2 m (4 ft) tall and wide, with mounds of branching stems covered in clouds of tiny white flowers in summer (hence the common name “baby’s breath”).” (To read more about this flowering plant click here)

Always welcome, baby’s breath on its own or mixed with other flowers, a delightful little flower.

There were lots of them but now they have all died out. I tried to get a picture of a cluster of them but when I tried there was too much wind and the pictures kept coming out blurry. That’s okay – I have more things growing in my pots. More to come on that! 😉 Also, I just sent you an email. I hope you get it okay. I’m having email troubles today so it might not have. 😦

I did get an email from you and have replied 😉 though only one, who knows where the other one has drifted off to?? Such a shame the wind spoilt a wider angled shot…at least you got to enjoy them en mass 😉 Looking forward to seeing what else your patio has been host to!! 🙂

I think lost emails end up in the same place that lost socks go when they come up missing from the dryer. 😉
