Day 39: Creeping Phlox

“Phlox in bloom are a sight to behold, with masses of small, star-shaped, colorful flowers blanketing the plants. There are several types, the most common of which are spring-blooming creeping phlox and summer-blooming tall phlox.” (Source) Pictured: Creeping phlox (Phlox subulata)

  2. I love Phlox flowers, and also, when they are about to burst open with their ‘twirly’ flower buds it’s such a beautiful plant which just seems to go on and on flowering. As always, you have captured a wonderful little composition 😉 So pretty!!
